
Chris McKenzie (Director), worked in journalism for six years after indecisively majoring in English, French and medieval studies at Rice University. He earned an MFA in Film and Electronic Media at American University in Washington, D.C., and now works as a freelance videographer editor in Boston, Massachusetts. He has taught at the college level for three years and this fall will begin teaching video and photography courses at the New England Institute of Art and Newbury College. He has DP’d two feature-length projects, including Cherry Red Productions’ Trapped by the Mormons. His last major directing project, All the Reverend's Men, was an official selection at the 2005 DC Independent Film Festival.
Bridget Kathleen O'Leary (Assistant Director) has worked in theatre most of her adult life, including serving as Artistic Director of Phoenix Theatre DC and directing several shows with them. She is now earning her MFA in Theatre Directing at Boston University, where she has directed the plays Crave, 4.48 Psychosis and Dancing at Lughnasa. This summer she is teaching at the Boston University Summer Theatre Institute and will teach this fall at Boston University.
Andy Kuester (Director of Photography) earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in Electronic Media from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2002 and will receive his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film and Media Arts from American University in Washington, D.C., this fall. Over the past two years, Andy has worked in the camera, grip, and electric departments on seven professional feature films and a multitude of professional and student shorts. After finishing up his graduate thesis, Andy plans to go to New York to live and work.
Brad Webb (Gaffer) has worked as the Director of Photography on seven thesis films in the past year and is currently finishing up his own thesis film, and directorial debut. He will receive an MA in Film and Electronic Media at American University in the fall of 2006. Professionally he has worked for ESPN as a camera assistant for NFL broadcasts and as a teaching assistant and videographer/editor at American University. He has won two American University Visions film festival awards for the short films 5 Letter Word and Welcome Home as well as a Kodak film grant for his thesis film, An Open Letter.
Yasmin Tuazon (Miss Woods/"Another Run") had the pleasure of working with Chris and Bridget on All the Reverend's Men, appearing as reporter Carla Woods. She is based in Washington DC, where she is a company member of Rorschach Theatre. As an actor, she has also worked with Arena Stage, Cherry Red Productions, Phoenix Theater DC, and Journeymen Theater Ensemble. Outside of performance, Yasmin spent four years as a scriptwriter for an interactive movie company and currently teaches Bikram yoga in the DC area.
