Set in the heart of Oklahoma, Indian Girl is a short film that explores the complex relationship between Native Americans and whites throughout the history of the state—from 1889, the year of the first Oklahoma Land Run, to the present. The film is now being submitted to festivals throughout the United States with the hope of soon being able to expand the project from the two segments that make up the 13-minute short. The film will premiere on June 11, 2010 at the deadCENTER Film Festival
in Oklahoma City. You can also follow news about the film
